Council appoints Santiago Lumbreras as president of the City of Arts and Sciences

Santiago Lumbreras from Alicante appointed, Generalitat Valenciana’s regional secretary for Corporate Affairs and Transparency The new chairman of the board of the Science and Art City AssociationSAU (CACSA).

The appointment took place at this Thursday’s meeting of the plenary of Consell, a forum where Joaquín Vañó Gironés was also decided to be part of the board; Mª Eugenia Vives Arlandis; Carlos Pablo Gracia Calandin, Alida Consuelo Mas Taberner; Jose Salvador Tarrega Cervera; Sergio Arlandis Lopez; Pilar Tebar Martinez; Maria Salome Cuesta Valera and Paula Llobet Vilarrasa.

Same way, Consell’s general assembly decided to remove the previous members.: Francesc Colomer Sánchez, serving as President; Emily Josep Sampio Morales; Daniel Gonzalez Serisola; Eva Coscolla Grau; Veronica LopezRamon; Carlos Vicente Ballester Faus; Maria Fernanda Escribano Botet; Carmen Amoraga Toledo; Teresa Garcia Munoz; Antonio Bernabe Garcia; Juan Vicente Climent Espi and José Luis Cueto Lominchar.

This body is made up of these people and Luis Sendra Mengual, dean of the Official College of Architects of the Valencian Community, continues his duty.

The Capital Companies Law (Law Decree dated 1/2010 and dated July 2, Articles 214 and 223) states that the appointment and dismissal of company directors coincide with the General Assembly.

CACSA is a sole proprietorship with Consell as the sole shareholder, so the decision is universally taken by Consell as a General Shareholders Meeting.
