Czech President announces continued support for Ukraine

Czech President Petr Pavel said Ukraine can continue to count on Prague’s support. He expressed this at a press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky. TASS.

“During the conflict, the Czech Republic sent 45 billion crowns (about 2 billion euros. – socialbites.ca) to Ukraine, not only the government, but also business enterprises and citizens to fight against Russian aggression,” Pavel said.

According to him, the Czech Republic supplied Ukraine 676 pieces of heavy equipment and air defense systems, about 4.2 million pieces of medium and large-caliber ammunition, or, for example, 380,000 artillery shells.
