An attack on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant could be carried out by Kiev on the night of July 5. This was stated by an adviser to Rosenergoatom president Renat Karchaa, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“Today we received information <…> Karchaa said on Rossiya 24 that on July 5, literally at night, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will try to attack the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant using long-range precision weapons and kamikaze drones.
He added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces could use the Tochka-U missile with a warhead filled with radioactive waste. The Ukrainian side allegedly removed these wastes from the Southern Ukraine nuclear power plant on July 3rd.
Earlier, the IAEA reported that the Russian Federation informed the agency about the kamikaze drone attacks on the switchgear of the Zaporizhzhya TPP, which was previously associated with the ZNPP.
On July 30, the UN called on the Russian Federation and Ukraine to prevent the emergence of a threat to the safety of the nuclear power plant.
“The IAEA plays the leading role here within the framework of UN structures. They continue to work to ensure the security of the station,” said Farhan Haq, representative of the UN Secretary-General.
Also, at the end of June, the US Air Force deployed its only radioactive contamination monitoring aircraft to Europe. According to the Military Review portal, citing anonymous Western media, the WC-135 Constant Phoenix aircraft landed at an airbase in Crete.

On June 30, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov described the accusations of preparing a provocation against the Russian Federation at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant as “pure water lies.”

Rogov said that the provocation at the nuclear power plant could be a continuation of a series of terrorist attacks carried out by the Kiev regime on Nord Stream, the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power plant and the Togliatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline.
Ministry of Health warned
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has issued recommendations on how to act in case of an explosion at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
“Residents of a potential radiation accident site should be prepared for a possible evacuation. If a radiation accident has been officially reported by the authorities, stay indoors or go to the facility as soon as possible. For more messages, stay tuned and follow the instructions of the authorities,” the broadcast says.
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine also recommended that you carry an “alarm box” containing personal documents, a mask or respirator, wet wipes, a change of clothes and shoes, a minimum supply of water and food.
