Tatyana Butskaya, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children, member of the United Russia party, said that the faction will develop a bill that should support breastfeeding. It has been reported DEA News.

“We have started to develop a project on the mother’s childhood bills within the framework of the ER legislative group,” said the parliamentarian.

According to her, this initiative will enable mothers to learn more about this issue.

Butskaya explained that within the framework of the federal program to support breastfeeding, a woman should be supported at all stages, starting with pregnancy.

“Breastfeeding is considered the fourth stage of pregnancy because what a baby gets from breast milk cannot be put in a jar of substitutes,” she added.

Also, the deputy emphasized that breastfeeding has an important role in preventing ovarian and breast cancer in the fair sex.
