Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on Sunday visited the police officers injured in the accident in Czajki, PAP learned from sources close to the government.
Polish police respond to lies!
The PO politicians want to play the case of the accident in a dirty way by scaring the citizens with the “PiS Prime Minister’s columns”. Polish police have already had to correct fake news from MP Agnieszka Pomaska, who wrote about the alleged “accident with Morawiecki”.
At the moment, the health of all participants in the event is the most important thing ✊ ✊ This is the priority – the best medical care. Attempts to involve @polskapolicja in politics are misguided. What counts for us are the facts, the findings made and not the political interests of anyone
– it was highlighted under the message pointing out the lies of the PO MP.

Accident in Czajki
The accident happened at approximately 3 p.m. Police reported that a Mazda passenger car drove head-on into a police car closing the column of government vehicles.
There is no indication of intentional action – the Mazda driver, traveling from the opposite direction, lost control of her car
the police said.
It was stressed that the most injured in the accident were the police officers.
One of them with pelvic and rib fractures was transported to hospital by the Polish Medical Air Rescue, while the other was transported to hospital. The Mazda’s four occupants were not seriously injured, according to initial estimates
the police said.
Earlier, the Podlasie Fire Department reported that the children (a teenager and a younger child) were sent to the hospital, their parents accompanied them, so the statistics of this accident include information about six injured: police officers and a Mazda family.
Wysokie Mazowieckie police press officer Agnieszka Zaremba informed PAP that the police car closed the government column of SOP vehicles after Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and the head of the Ministry of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak visited Podlasie. She did not specify whether the Prime Minister and the head of the Ministry of National Defense were in the line of vehicles.
Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak were in Białystok on Sunday and then in Krynki on the border with Belarus.
The road at the scene of the accident has been closed, diversions are in place on local roads. Agnieszka Zaremba said that the circumstances of the accident are being investigated under the supervision of the public prosecutor.
