The opposition wants to block the work of the Commission for Investigating Russian Influence, and thus the launch of the European Commission; Brussels would not be interested in this case if it were not for the Polish opposition – says Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Arkadiusz Mularczyk in an interview published in “Nasz Dziennik” on Friday.
In an interview with Deputy Foreign Minister Arkadiusz Mularczyk, “Nasz Dziennik” asked whether a new dispute with Brussels is emerging due to the fact that the College of European Commissioners has initiated proceedings for violation of the EU law by Poland. It concerns the law establishing a commission to investigate Russian influence.
Everything points to it
replied Mularczyk.
fear of the opposition
Our opposition is extremely concerned that Russian influence in our country will be thoroughly investigated. Everything that should have been hidden suddenly becomes clear
he said.
The Commission is giving us the opportunity to find out how far the Russians’ tentacles reached, who they interacted with and what decisions they influenced. We have nothing to hide. We believe that everything should be made clear. They want to block the work of this commission. And hence the launch of the European Commission
– he said.
I dare say that Brussels would not be interested in this matter if it were not for the actions of the Polish opposition. This is their only strategy for political activity
he assessed.
