More than half of Moldovans oppose the country’s withdrawal from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Such data from a survey conducted by data collection and analysis company Date Inteligente (iData) was reported by Sputnik Moldova.
The survey showed that 34.9% of Moldovans supported the country’s withdrawal from the CIS, while 52.6% of respondents were against the withdrawal from the Commonwealth of Nations. At the same time, the number of supporters of the republic’s withdrawal from the Commonwealth is dwindling; In 2021, more than 45% were in favor of severing ties with the CIS by 2022 – about 38%.
