Security in the Middle East and issues related to supporting Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression are the main topics of the Polish diplomat’s three-day visit, which also includes Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
During his trip, the deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs meets, among others, with his Israeli counterpart and – on the Palestinian side – with the Deputy Foreign Minister Amal Jadou.

Jad Washem – Institute for the Memory of Holocaust Martyrs and Heroes – is an institution created to document the history of the Jewish nation during the Holocaust and to commemorate the victims of that period. The idea for its establishment was born during the Zionist Congress in London in 1945, but the Institute was established on August 19, 1953 in Jerusalem under the law of commemoration passed by the Knesset (Israeli parliament).
Several thousand olive trees grow in the Garden of the Just in memory of people who helped Jews during World War II. To date, the title of Righteous has been awarded to more than 27,000 people. people from 51 countries, including nearly 7,000 Poles.
