“The CJEU has again ruled in a case that should not be heard at all,” Beata Szydło wrote on Twitter.
The MEP Law and Justice referred to the scandalous judgment of the European Court of Justice on social media.
According to Beata Szydło, we are witnessing “a mockery of European law”.
The administration of justice under the Treaties remains the sovereign competence of nation states, but the CJEU has taken no notice and has once again ruled in a case it should not be dealing with at all. This is a mockery of European law and an expression of treating Poland as a country on which the Brussels elites try to test their anti-democratic visions, with the ultimate goal of establishing a European federation rather than a union of nation-states.

Judgment of the CJEU
The Court of Justice of the European Union ruled in its judgment announced on Monday that the reform of the Polish judiciary in December 2019 is contrary to EU law.
The CJEU thus upheld the complaint submitted by the European Commission in April 2021. The EC accused Poland that the 2019 amendment to the law on the common court system, the law on the Supreme Court and some other laws violates EU law.
