In an interview with Svetlana Radionova, Head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources (Rosprirodnadzor) DEA News He stated that by 2026, “remote” environmental auditing will appear in the Russian Federation, in which enterprises will independently upload information about the impact on the environment into an electronic system.

“We expect remote inspection to be introduced and I think it will appear finished by 2026,” he said.

According to the head of Rosprirodnadzor, such a system will actually replace auditing and reduce the verification burden on enterprises, as well as ensure “full openness” of enterprises.

Radionova added that Gazpromneft can be noted among the companies already transmitting environmental information to Rosprirodnadzor.
