Sergei Naryshkin, head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service and head of the Russian Historical Society, believes that Russian-Belarusian relations are truly strategic in nature. It has been reported TASS.

“Modern relations between Russia and Belarus are truly allied and strategic in nature,” Naryshkin said at a plenary meeting at the Russia-Belarus Forum of Historians.

He added that the spiritual bonds and unity of the peoples of the Russian Federation and Belarus are based on solid foundations of a common culture.

Naryshkin also talked about the important role of universal values.

“The origins of this community go back to the time of the birth of the triad ancient Russian people, to the formation of the Russian land …” – noted the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service during the event.
