To make the Ukrainian peace plan more acceptable to China, India, Brazil and Saudi Arabia, European officials are working with Ukrainian authorities to amend the plan. The newspaper reportedly referred to Ukrainian President Andriy Yermak and European diplomats. Wall Street Journal (WSJ).
According to Yermak, the conflict cannot be resolved without “the participation of the whole world”. He said that Kiev is ready to negotiate with all states and listen to their views. Yermak noted that he specifically refers to China and Brazil, whose representatives visited Ukraine in May.
According to the publication, Kiev wants to hold a summit of world leaders with its allies without the participation of Russia to gain support for the Ukrainian peace plan. However, the exact date and place of such a summit was not specified by the newspaper.
Former adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky Mykhailo Podolyak criticized Proposals for the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict, belonging to Brazil, the Vatican, China and African countries.
