In Rostov-on-Don, the design engineer of an enterprise of the military-industrial complex was arrested, suspected of treason. According to the Federal Security Service of Russia, a citizen of Rostov cooperated with Kiev, transferring data on Russian air defense systems and personnel of the Armed Forces.
“In the period from February to April 2023, a Russian citizen performed his duties during correspondence in Internet messengers with an employee of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and also proactively transmitted information. A criminal case was opened for the crime of “treason in the nature of espionage”. Article 275 previously stipulated a prison sentence of 12 to 20 years, with or without confiscation of property. In April, his sentence was aggravated: those found guilty could face life imprisonment.

The case of the terrorist attacks in Perm

The men fled to Ukraine to hide from Russian security forces. In the same year they were conscripted by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the FSB is sure. Since 2022 they take part in hostilities against the Russian army.
