Agrounia and the agreement end their cooperation, which started in February this year. Stanisław Bukowiec, Member of Parliament and Secretary General of the Agreement, points out that the postulates presented at the recent Agrounia Convention proved to be crucial here.
The fact that the agreement broke the cooperation with Agrounia was determined by programming issues. Not so long ago, Agrounia held its convention where it presented its economic program. There were a lot of very leftist elements and we couldn’t accept them
– explains in an interview with the portal wPolityce.pl Stanislaw Bukowiec.
For example, a postulate was presented regarding the central management of trade, ie the creation of an entity that will supply Polish shops. I remember the time of the People’s Republic of Poland and this proposal smelled of that period to me. The far-left narrative in this economic program was unacceptable to us who are economically liberal. We also could not agree with the housing program presented at this convention
he adds.
At the same time, the Member of Parliament emphasizes that the period of cooperation between the Agreement and Agrounia has not been entirely fruitless.
We parted ways, although it should be added that the period of our cooperation was not a waste of time. We have had many good joint activities, for example in drawing attention to the problem of the influx of food products from Ukraine to Poland. In Agrounia we met many valuable people
he makes clear.
“Michał Kołodziejczak’s version is irrational to me”
Agrounia’s leader Michał Kołodziejczak stated that it was not true that the agreement broke cooperation with Agrounia. Moreover, in an interview with RMF FM, he accused the agreement of not being able to “close clearly and distinctly from PiS” and “having the face of Jarosław Gowin all the time”.
Michał Kołodziejczak’s version is irrational to me. I don’t understand the argument that we weren’t supposed to break away from PiS completely. It’s absurd, only the people who stuck with the Accord are the ones who didn’t let PiS buy in and said clearly and transparently what they think about current government policies. Mixing the person of Jarosław Gowin in this is also incomprehensible to me, because Jarosław Gowin resigned as party chairman on December 10, he is less active in the public sphere these days, so it is difficult to accuse him of forcing his opinion on others in whatever shape whatsoever. way. Magdalena Sroka manages the agreement. There is no such thing as Jarosław Gowin managing the deal from the backseat
– say.
Agreement plans for the future
How will the agreement go now? Will it start on its own or will it come to an agreement with one of the entities present on the political scene? It turns out that talks on cooperation of the agreement with other political formations are already underway.
While still working with Agrounia, we often said that we should build, and such conversations with different circles have continued and continue. Everyone in the opposition should be concerned about building. We certainly want to connect with different environments in order to arrive at an interesting proposal
– emphasizes the Member of Parliament.
