Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban expressed his hope that former US President Donald Trump will be re-elected as the head of the state in the 2024 elections, transmits Bloomberg. According to him, he hopes the vote will turn out well for the Republican politician.
“I hope so,” Orban crossed his fingers when asked by a journalist on the subject.
The Hungarian Prime Minister considers him a good person, as he pointed out in relation to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Trump’s possible main rival in the Republican Party. He added that he would not criticize incumbent US President Joe Biden as it was not a good idea for business.
Former German Chancellor Olaf Scholz hoped Joe Biden’s victory in the 2024 US presidential election. In his view, re-election of the head of the White House is “better” than the victory of his predecessor, Donald Trump.
