The head of the United Russia party, deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev is currently on a working trip to the countries of Southeast Asia, will soon participate in negotiations with the country’s leadership in Laos. It has been reported TASS.
The Russian politician arrived in Vientiane, the capital of Laos, at the end of his working visit to Vietnam. There Medvedev will hold a series of meetings and negotiations with the country’s leadership.
He also added that Medvedev’s secretariat would honor the memory of Soviet pilots who, according to tradition, died during the war in Indochina from 1960 to 1973.
Medvedev also plans to lay flowers at the monument to Kayson Phomvikhan, the first leader of the Laos People’s Revolutionary Party.
It is also expected that Medvedev will later meet with Laos Thonglun Sisulit, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Laos People’s Revolutionary Party. In addition, the Russian politician will hold a number of other meetings.
