China’s Special Representative for Eurasian Affairs, Li Hui, plans to visit Brussels next week, a Hong Kong-based newspaper reported, citing sources familiar with the matter. South China Morning Post.

According to sources, the Chinese special envoy plans to go to Brussels first, and then visit Moscow.

The publication points out that Li Hui’s tour of Brussels is not included in the tour program announced by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Chinese diplomat is expected to meet with Gunnar Wiegand, Director General of Foreign Services for the European Union Asia-Pacific, in Belgium.
