“One more word and I’ll call the police!” – this is how Civic Platform MP Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz addressed the miners who came with banners “Donald Tusk, don’t lie!!!” to the meeting place with the leader of Civic Platform.
Lawsuit against Tusk
Shortly before the anniversary of the JSW protests, PO chairman Donald Tusk stated that no miners were injured during the February 2015 events. Since then, representatives of this profession, supported by PiS MP Grzegorz Matusiak (who was involved in helping injured miners) happily showed up at meetings with Tusk, carrying banners recalling police brutality during miner protests for JSW.
On February 23, 2023, Grzegorz Matusiak filed a lawsuit against Tusk in court, accusing the former prime minister of lying.
“Bye. Out”
Recently, the chairman of the Civic Platform together with a group of deputies – including Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz and Monika Wielichowska – visited Trzebinia, where many years after the liquidation of the mine, the ground began to subside. Both Tusk and PO MPs argued that the current government is doing nothing to help the city’s residents.
Miners with banners also appeared in Trzebinia. How did they react? It was shown on Facebook by MP Matusiak.
The video shows MP Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz, among others, announcing that he will call the police during a sharp exchange of views with one of the miners.
“Please do not call back! Bye. Out ! One more word and I’ll call the police!” This is how Tusk’s militias, including Platform MPs, conduct a “dialogue” with civilian miners who wanted to talk to Mr. Tusk. What is @donaldtusk afraid of? the truth?
