Deputy Prime Minister Mariusz Błaszczak informed the public about the shortcomings of the operational commander of the Polish Armed Forces. It is about looking for an object that fell near Bydgoszcz.
The Minister of National Defense argued that DO had not taken appropriate action in relation to the search.
The inspection’s findings clearly showed that the operations commander had not taken sufficient action to search for the object. Only a police patrol was sent to the site and the search was not carried out until December 19
Blaszczak said.
Soldiers of the Territorial Forces on duty were not involved in the search and after 19 December the search was completely abandoned
– added.

According to the findings of the inspection, the operation commander abandoned his instruction duties, did not inform me about the object that appeared in Polish airspace, nor the government center for security and other services provided for in the procedures.
