“We have the words of Mr. President Lech Kaczyński, we want to carry out his policy, his will. We want Poland to be truly united and to eliminate these inequalities,” Deputy Prime Minister and head of the MAP, Jacek Sasin, said during a meeting with the residents of Kamienica Polska.
The universal message of the Constitution of May 3
The politician first referred to the anniversary of the adoption of the constitution on May 3, which was celebrated last week.
On May 3, 1791, we as a nation adopted the first Polish and European constitution. We are proud of that, but we must also draw a universal message from this constitution, which is still valid today
said Sasin.
The Constitution of May 3 formulated for the first time that Poland is one country, that it is a single country that is not divided into the Crown and Lithuania, that it is a country within which there are no magnate principalities, no countries that are truly separate from standing together. of power do not serve the central capital
– added.
Poland is one – this message is also valid today, this message that was also so strongly formulated and emphasized by President Lech Kaczyński. I remember that when he assumed the office of President of Poland, he emphasized in his speech that the goal of any power in Poland should be to make the fatal division in Poland A and B, Poland “better” and “worse” “, to cancel. A country cannot be strong and develop well if it does not see that there are regions that need special support and special interest. For historical reasons, it so happened that in Poland there are more prosperous and less prosperous regions, better developing and less developing
emphasized the politician.
“We have the words of Mr. President Lech Kaczynski
Every authority in Poland, and our authority, the Authority of Law and Justice and President Jarosław Kaczyński, aims to eliminate these inequalities. That is a task that also applies here, also in this region
– said Jacek Sasin in his speech.
We have the words of Mr. President Lech Kaczyński, we want to carry out his policy, his will. We want Poland to be truly united and to eliminate these inequalities
– emphasized the Minister of State Assets.
Jacek Sasin pointed out that even the region where he currently resides is full of social inequalities and that the government has introduced a number of programs to eliminate these inequalities.
Our budget today is more than twice as large as it was in 2015, when we won the elections and took power
noted the politician.
Our predecessors said there’s nothing that can be done, Donald Tusk said he would introduce such a program as 500 Plus, but he doesn’t know where the money is buried. Another key politician, the then Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, said: “‘Piniendzy’ does not exist and will not exist.” We all remember these words. We managed to find this money where we all suspected it to be – in the pockets of various crooks, criminals, VAT mafia
– added.
We were brave, we were able to face those powerful forces that previously operated with impunity in Poland and no authority was able to stop them. We had the courage and sent this money to the budget
– emphasized the Deputy Prime Minister.
“The dreams of many Poles can come true”
Today’s budget, on the revenue side, is planned to exceed PLN 600 billion this year. This is a record amount. There’s never been a budget like this before, because we know where the money is buried
he said.
He pointed out that in recent years about PLN 90 billion had been allocated to investment programs aimed at increasing the level of development of local Poland.
This is a huge amount, which has never before reached the treasury of Polish local authorities. It did not offer such great opportunities for the development of local Poland
he noticed.
Today, thanks to our Law and Justice government programs, the dreams of many Poles can come true. Also here in the Silesia, this money changes our small homelands. Of the PLN 90 billion, PLN 7.5 billion alone went to the Śląskie Voivodeship. The actual amount contributed to local government budgets. Of this PLN 7.5 billion, PLN 4 billion was spent on the renovation and construction of local roads. This is extremely important for the safety and comfort of the residents, but also important for economic development
he said.
Only one government programme, the road construction programme, created 1.2 thousand jobs. kilometers of new and renovated roads in the province of Silesian
Jacek Sasin added.
“Today Poles are not plagued by unemployment”
Today Poles are not plagued by the plague of unemployment, the huge plague that devastated Polish society after 1989, after the fall of communism
– said the head of MAP in his speech.
He stressed that the number of unemployed in the province of Silesia has fallen by more than 63% since 2015 and the average salary in this province has increased by almost 70% since 2015.
If we look at the minimum monthly salary in Poland, it has increased by almost 100%. – from PLN 1,750 in 2015 to PLN 3,490 now. And now we are planning another increase from July
he pointed it out.
Sasin emphasized that these are real achievements, “allowing Poles to say today: we feel safe in our own country, also in this social aspect.”
In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister recalled government social programs such as “Family 500 plus”.
Here, in the province in Silesia, under the 500 plus program, PLN 20 billion went into the pockets of the Poles. Huge, astronomical amount. As a result, the household budgets of families in the province have increased. Silesian
he pointed it out.
But not only 500 plus, also the 13th pension, the 14th pension, ie the offer addressed to senior citizens. PLN 6 billion (…) to the pockets of seniors here, in the Silesian province
he summed up.
The Deputy Prime Minister also raised the issue of energy security. As he said: “without access to cheap energy there is no chance of development, (…) for us to have funds to support Polish society and local Poland”.
He stressed that Poland has its own energy resources – coal, which “is the cheapest source of energy on the one hand, but on the other hand – is currently burdened with such high allowances for CO2 emissions that it becomes the most expensive source of energy.”
But until we build alternative sources – and we want to build them based on renewables and nuclear energy – (…) we must support Polish coal. And that’s why the battle that was fought, but is still going on, in the EP over methane emissions was so important
– said the deputy prime minister, adding that PiS members of the European Parliament “fought very hard to defend Polish mining and Polish coal, and they succeeded.”
PO wants to go back to the early 90s?
Our political competitors have a clear agenda. They want to privatize everything in Poland. They want to go back to the early 1990s, when after the fall of communism, everything state-owned was bad and had to be sold to foreign investors for pennies. It should be the same now. Our economy should be the same. The Polish state must get rid of everything
– said Jacek Sasin at the convention.
According to him, Polish companies should go to foreign investors, because “after all, there is no money in Poland to buy these companies”.
These will be big foreign corporations who will brutally implement their policies here, just as they have done in recent years, treating Poland as a market for their goods and as a reservoir of cheap labour. This is how Poland was treated. This only changed during the rule of law
he noticed.
We cannot allow such practices to come back, let wild privatization come back, let the sale of national assets come back, and not just companies, but as we heard from the mouth of Civic Platform’s leading economic adviser, privatization must also cover bridges , viaducts and roads. There should be nothing Polish in Poland, everything should be transferred to foreign capital. This is the plan of our Civic Platform political competitors. We must do everything we can to prevent this plan from being carried out
he stressed.
Let’s choose those who give hope for a better future. So let’s choose Law and Justice, because the Law and Justice program is the program of Poland’s future, and let’s not forget that Poland has a future, because the future is Poland
– added the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of State Assets.
Security has many faces
In his speech, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State Assets stressed that for Poland to develop, it must be a safe country.
If we have to think about the future, think that the Poles should live better, raise the level of prosperity in our society, then we should have a sense of security. We build this sense of security very intensively and effectively and with full conviction in many areas
said Sasin.
As he noted, security has many faces, “not just the one we would notice immediately, ie military security, which is so important in light of what’s happening beyond our eastern border, this nightmare of the war in Ukraine.”
We are extremely consistent here. Huge purchases of modern armaments, a very marked increase in defense spending. This year alone, we will spend almost PLN 100 billion on defense from the state budget alone, and if we add money from various extra-budgetary mechanisms, it will even be about PLN 130 billion
– said the Deputy Prime Minister.
He estimated that it was a huge amount.
We have to spend it to be safe, to be able to develop further. We will not deviate from this path in the coming years
– assured the head of MAP.
Sasin also recalled that the government was in the process of strengthening the Polish army, numerically expanding it and introducing legal solutions such as the Homeland Defense Act.
These are important achievements of our government and today Poles can feel safe
– emphasized the Deputy Prime Minister.
As he noted, this security is also social security.
We can be proud that the wages of the Poles are growing. The latest survey, published today, shows that Poles now rate their family’s financial situation as good. A whopping 48 percent responded that they live well or very well, and another 30 percent. says they live at a satisfactory level. These are the best results ever in history. This is also a credit to our government
said Sasin.
He pointed out that Poles are not plagued by unemployment these days.
For many years, many families struggled with the problem of unemployment, with the problem of taking care of their children, forcing many active Poles to find their place on earth and a better life abroad. How many are still abroad, although we note with satisfaction that there are people who return to Poland because they see that there is a future in Poland. You can also live with dignity in Poland
– noted the Deputy Prime Minister.
