Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Szymon Hołownia are probably bursting with pride – it was Tusk who handed them a certificate of decency and patriotism at a meeting with voters in Tarnobrzeg: “PSL President Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and the leader of Poland 2050 are decent people” and stated that he would only speak well of them and expressed a willingness to cooperate.
Probably a stone fell from the hearts of both leaders and the sleepless nights ended, in which the vision of the whipping they would receive in the election, if there was no list, announced by Tusk in March, just like the prophecy of Wernyhora , aroused fear and fear for the future of the Sejm.
Apparently, Tusk took to heart the remark of one of the leaders of the left, Krzysztof Gawkowski, who, after Tusk’s March speech in Żywiec and his words that if the opposition parties do not decide to draw up a joint list for the elections to the Sejm in the near future, those groups who want to “just be and enter alone” the Sejm, will “get heavy whips from the voters”, declaring:
I consider Tusk’s words as blackmail, and I think nothing good ever comes out of blackmail, because it always ends up that partners who today have the right to have a different opinion – I look at Szymon Hołownia and Władysław Kosiniak – Kamysz here – will be even more offended.
Gawkowski advised seeking a policy of love and reconciliation rather than blackmail.
However, before Tusk went in search of this policy, he threatened Hołownia with hellfire – “After all, I will go to hell if we lose this election. He will go to hell too”, but the more the leaders of PSL and Poland 2050 feel declared willingness to draw up a joint program (a joint list by implication), the more the vision of a united opposition led by Tusk faded like Salomea’s silver dream.
It took a while, but apparently Tusk has finally realized that berating and insulting those with whom Poland wants to rule in the future does not produce visible results and yesterday in Tarnobrzeg he declared that he would only speak well of Kosiniak-Kamysz and Hołownia, because “these are patriots.” However, he didn’t fail to point out the wrong decision (although it hasn’t been made yet) that “they want to go together”:
I think it’s wrong, but they have a right to do that. (…) I may not agree with them on this issue, but these are decent people who will never betray a politician’s fundamental ethos, who will not take bribes, who will not put the whole family in a state company, who will not steal public media.
The PO chairman also stated that he was willing to work with both gentlemen, but he did not reveal what it would consist of, he only confessed that he did not want to talk about what differs between them, but also what he may have in common , since he doesn’t fill every day with a number of program offers because “I don’t want to impose our opinion on other, smaller parties.” According to Tusk, people are not waiting for “volumes” of bills before the election, although they are willing to rule from day one when it comes to the Civic Coalition. “We got it all done,” Tusk declared, and probably, as some other parties stated before winning the election, there are drawers full of bills that will be executed immediately after pulling out. Only later did it turn out that these drawers were completely empty. But, as the opposition leader said, one does not wait for piles of bills before elections. What are they waiting for, other than chasing down PiS and removing the right wing of power, Donald Tusk has not specified, but they’ve got it done. It is only at this point that the question arises whether Kosiniak-Kamysz and Hołownia will accept such a spinner in the drawers of the PO, when only after winning (?) the elections they sit down to talk about how they will govern together.
Perhaps the leaders of the left will be disappointed that the certificate of decency and patriotism issued by Donald Tusk did not cover them, but nothing is lost, they will raise the canopy over Tusk on June 4, which they will do, and all will be forgiven .
Donald Tusk in the role of a benevolent, prodigal sons of the opposition forgiving and encouraging them to return to their common home, a dove with an olive branch in its beak is a new creation of the chairman of the PO, intended to face of a ruthless politician who will do anything to achieve his goals and ambitions. And once they are reached, the lesser ones will either submit or be eaten. We are, of course, only talking about political cannibalism.
