“Over the past year, Estonia has moved even closer to Poland, Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas said before her visit to Warsaw, quoted by the BNS bureau on Tuesday.

We took the lead on important security issues, such as sanctions against Russia, limiting the price of Russian oil and increasing military aid to Ukraine
– said the head of the Estonian government.
She added that Poland is “a good friend of Estonia, a reliable ally in NATO and a partner in the European Union”.
Kallas visited Ukraine on Monday; it was her first trip abroad since Estonia’s new government was sworn in last week. On his second foreign visit, Kallas will go to Warsaw, where he will meet Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on Tuesday and participate in a discussion organized at the College of Europe in Natolin.
The meeting of the Prime Ministers of Poland and Estonia will cover the following topics: regional security issues, preparations for the July NATO summit in Vilnius and bilateral cooperation, including in the defense sector.
