An important announcement from the Minister of Climate. Poland does not agree
On 10 December 2020, at the EU summit in Brussels, EU leaders reached an agreement on the EU budget and the recovery fund, which are linked to the regulation binding on the use of EU funds with respect for the rule of law and the EU climate policy, the assumptions of which are included in the “Fit for 55” package. After Poland and Hungary threatened to veto the budget, the European Council adopted the previously negotiated conclusions setting out the criteria for applying the rule of law mechanism. At that time, Poland voted in favor of the guiding proposals of the “Fit for 55” package.
On Wednesday, referring to Tuesday’s vote on the package, Climate and Environment Minister Anna Moscow said that “Poland will not support any law passed by the European Parliament in the EU Council on Tuesday.”
— Minister Moscow: Unlike the opposition, the Polish government will not support any of the “Fit for 55” legal acts adopted by the EP
— The EP adopted the Fit key for 55 directives and regulations. Szydło direct: “Europeans have been treated to an expensive energy transformation”
– ONLY HERE. Rzońca: “Fit for 55” is ideologically and economically underestimated. It will draw the EU to third world countries
— They are the ones who supported “Fit for 55”! We know the list of opposition members who voted for a solution harmful to Poland
