Running With Scissors has suddenly released the 20th anniversary update for Postal 2. Developer announcement about it seen On the game page on Steam.
The update is called the 20th Anniversary Update. It adds support for the Steam Deck console to Postal 2, fits the xPatch custom modification into the game world’s canon, and also introduces some gameplay changes. For example, the game has a new mode called “Two Weeks in Paradise” and the difficulty level is “ridiculous”. Also, a new game can now be started from any story day.
Minor changes include an increase in blood volume, a more common “cat” silencer, as well as an increased arsenal of weapons available to ordinary citizens. In addition, the developers fixed many minor bugs.
Postal 2 is a first-person shooter released on April 17, 2003. The game chronicles about a week in the life of the Dude in the city of Paradise, and at the end all the inhabitants start to fight each other. Postal 2 is often criticized for being too violent and immoral, but that didn’t stop it from selling millions of copies and becoming a cult classic.
