Poles are responsible for the deaths of Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto because they failed to help the insurgents and watched with joy as they were burned alive. Lukashenko did not bring illegal migrants to the Polish border. Poles are racists, they help Ukrainians and ignore the fate of newcomers from distant countries who attack our border barriers. Those of the weekly “Sieci” are already racists who do not even hide their prejudices. Global warming will mean that the wealthy north will have to accept as many migrants as they want to come to us and “share” our prosperity. All these golden thoughts fit into one conversation between Monika Olejnik and Agnieszka Holland. The ladies were worthy interlocutors – they manipulated and spoke similar nonsense.
While writing the cover text for the current issue of the weekly “Sieci”, together with Marcin Wikła, we listened carefully to many of Agnieszka Holland’s thoughts on the migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border. They are the reason why one can only expect the new work of the creator of “Europe, Europe” with fear. We called our text “On bad Poles and good strangers” because this is the keynote of the emerging “Green Border”. In it you will not only read about the views of the Netherlands, but you will also get to know a look behind the scenes of the film that is being made in the greatest secrecy.

And although I still have a little hope that the Netherlands will finally soften its film blow at a later stage of production, I have no doubt that this photo can do Poland a lot of harm.
The director proves it at every opportunity. The last was her performance on Tuesday in “Kropka nad i”.
However, the program started with historical threads, although it would be more precise to write: ahistorical. TVN24 is disgustingly using the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising to falsify history and spit at Poland.
Olejnik framed the conversation with Holland with a quote that was supposed to show Varsovians as callous observers of the ordeal of the Jews in the ghetto, unwilling to help, indifferent to the bestiality of the Germans. They sat idly on the roofs and watched people “as the Romans in Nero’s time look at living torches.”
It’s not true. Olejnik knows it and Holland knows it. But the director was not eager to correct these lies. She didn’t take it home. Unfortunately, she entered the host’s story and told the story she needed to hear from her mother. In the first days of the ghetto uprising, she would hear the joy of Varsovians lining up for Konstancin: “Thank God the Jews are frying and this problem will be solved once and for all.” The devastated mother even wanted to commit suicide because of this, but it turned out that the cyanide she was supposed to receive from the commander of the Home Army unit in which she served was just a placebo.
This is what has stayed with me: the realization that the suffering of some can be selfless joy for others
Netherlands announced. What a testimony she chose to tell on such a day. This is how she summarized Poland’s attitude towards Jews during World War II. I warn you against any doubt: in this program no one mentioned Poland as the only country under German occupation where aid to Jews was punishable by death, nor about Poles, who are the largest group honored by the Yad Vashem Institute with the title of “Righteous Among the Nations of the World”.
Olejnik asked:
Why were Varsovians indifferent then?
Holland, on the other hand, after pointing out that she dislikes generalizations and vaguely mentioning the existence of organizations helping Jews, immediately generalized the justification for the supposed indifference:
It certainly did, because it was possible, because their brains were eaten by pre-war national democracy propaganda and Nazi propaganda.
Can there be a more idiotic proposition than that according to which the propaganda of the Third Reich was effective against the Poles? What do we not yet know and what does Mrs. Holland want to share with us? It turns out there are quite a few.
The president of the Institute of National Remembrance, Karol Nawrocki, was very gentle about the behavior of the TVN star:
Monika Olejnik in “Kropka Nad I” about the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising: she did not name the perpetrators of the crime – Germans, she blamed the Poles for the death of Polish Jews with one quote, asked “why Warsaw was indifferent?” Nasty, Mr. Editor. You must apologize to Poland, especially to the residents of Varsov.
The oilman will not apologize. After 24 hours on her show, the concentration of lies increased.

But let’s go back to the conversation with the president of the European Film Academy, who invited Olejnik to the day of the March of the Living, not only because she comes from a Jewish family, but mainly because the film is being shot, and maybe as a result of the Networks article.
Let’s quote some quotes from the artist:
For a long time, the Holocaust in Europe seemed to inoculate us against the temptations of racism or nationalism, but this vaccine has run out. We live in a world where we are very good and prosperous, but on the other hand we realize how fragile this stabilization is. It is easy to see the threat of those who want to come to us and share this prosperity with us.
For example, there are some nice “them” who innocently “come to us” because they want to “share” something with us. Does the Netherlands give us permission to share something? NO. We’re glad they want us to share. The situation turned on its head. Aberration!
But this is just the beginning. In the whole conversation the word “migrant” is not mentioned, it is always “refugee”. And these are completely different concepts and it is a shame for a journalist and a filmmaker to confuse them. Moreover, it turns out that we know nothing about where these migrants who stormed our border came from. Holland clarifies:
They were not brought in, just a corridor was opened. Encouraged. He made it easier for Lukashenko to get close to the EU border and cross it painlessly.
And special flights from Baghdad to Minsk? And massive issuance of Russian and Belarusian visas for people from Africa or the Middle East? And gather these people in some hangars, and later, in larger groups and with the escort of Belarusian services that provide equipment to cross the barriers, take them to the border and confront our officers? No, it is not import.
Agnieszka Holland disguises her perception of the hybrid attack on Poland in round sentences about the “man placed in a specific situation, specific choices” that interest her. She also almost presents herself as an admirer of border guards:
I would like to defend the border guard and I would also defend them against orders that violate the law. Because if anyone ever pays for it, it will be individual officers who, in their sheer masses, are cool people.
I have no problem with the formation of the Border Guard or any military formation in Poland. I have a problem with the authorities giving these officers challenges that break their conscience.
I don’t think I need to declare myself a patriot, but maybe I see patriotism differently from Minister Wąsik or Minister Kamiński.
That’s for sure. And protect us, God, from patriots like Agnieszka Holland.
It likes to resort to legal arguments to extend a protective umbrella over migrants. But somehow he forgets the right they don’t want to use, which is the ability to legally report to border crossings and claim asylum. Why? Is it because – ACCORDING TO THE LAW – they would simply not be entitled to refugee status in our country, because, for example, they are not fleeing war or persecution, or before reaching Poland they had already visited other countries where – ACCORDING TO THE LAW Do they have to apply for asylum?
The problem usually lies in why these people come to us and storm the borders – it’s about their convenience. Agnieszka Holland wants to de facto give everyone the right to choose in which country they want to live. And that country should not have the right to deny him that. Why?
We, the rich world, are responsible for these people.
The director, in his generosity, even reaches for an argument for the insane. In the following interview, he argues that the reason for migration is, among other things… global warming!
Europe would like to be a fortress, but I do not think it will succeed. Especially that we are dealing with even more drastic climate changes.
Millions of economic migrants have arrived in Europe over the last decade, but somehow I have never heard of a case of a migrant fleeing climate change. Who will buy it?
Finally, a quote that refers to the weekly “Sieci”, although the name was not mentioned:
I read in a newspaper that criticized the fact that I was making a film how to compare Ukrainian refugees with Syrian refugees. This is a signal of the racism of this newspaper.
We didn’t criticize the fact that we made the movie. We have clearly pointed out how shameful it is to equate Ukrainian women fleeing war with their children and African men seeking a comfortable life with European assistance. On five and a half pages of the weekly we indicate what kind of film it will be, how it will harm Poland and how it will falsify reality by developing completely unauthorized statements of Mrs. Holland. She herself said (in a recent radio interview):
Racism is a phenomenon that is not purely Polish. But in Poland he is stripped of his mask and costume, and perhaps that is why he can be seen more clearly and perhaps treated more clearly in a longer perspective.
Unfortunately, we can only dream that one of the most outstanding figures of Polish cinema would do what he can: make good films, instead of playing the national psychiatrist and therapist. What has Poland done to Mrs Holland? What have the Poles done to her that she has such a bad opinion of us? Perhaps an interesting topic for another artist?
We also talked about the “Green Border” on the program “I have a question for you gentlemen.” I would highly recommend!
