Construction of an electronic firewall on the Polish-Russian border began on Tuesday, said the head of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, Mariusz Kamiński.
Very concrete earthworks have started today, concerning the construction of an electronic dam on the Polish-Russian border, ie on the border with the Königsberg district
said the minister.
It will be a dam that will be an extremely modern dam, like we have on the border with Belarus: lots of day and night cameras, motion sensors. We will also fully monitor what is happening on the border with Russia

According to the head of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, the works will be completed in the autumn of this year.
Our eastern border will also – I am convinced – be perfectly prepared for all kinds of illegal activities related to crisis situations, with our eastern neighbours. I am convinced that this will be the most secure border in the European Union
said Minister Kaminski.
