The Russian embassy in Tel Aviv reported that allegations about Moscow’s possible support of armed groups that have previously bombed Israeli territory are unfounded. TASS.

This is how Russian diplomats interpreted the statements of Zvi Magen, a senior researcher at the Israel Institute for National Security Studies, the former ambassador of the Jewish state to Russia. Talking about the aggravation of the situation around Israel, which has recently come under fire from the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, the Minister argued that the Kremlin, in coordination with Iran, may be behind this escalation.

“Unfortunately, Mr. Magen could not escape the disease that is prevalent in the West, which manifests itself in the tendency to blame Russia everywhere, always and everywhere and blame Russia for everything,” the Russian embassy said.

The statement adds that the experienced diplomat is trying to find a Russian trail where there is no Russian trail.
