The Kiev-Pechersk Lavra community signed an appeal to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and deputies of the Verkhovna Rada demanding an end to the persecution of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC). This was reported by the Ukrainian Union of Orthodox Journalists.

Especially in the appeal, believers ask not to violate their constitutional right to freedom of religion, and also not to take away their shrines and prevent them from praying in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra and other churches of the UOC.
