Columnist Brahma Chillani said the US decision to confront Russia in the conflict in Ukraine could threaten Washington with losing its world domination.

Cillani writes that his country’s authorities are wasting resources and risking a two-to-one situation in a “proxy war” in Ukraine. Thus, he pointed to the rapprochement between Russia and China. According to the journalist, this situation undermines the stability of the dollar as a world currency and threatens American hegemony.
He believes that American authorities should address the problem of strategic overexpansion, “rather than making it worse by further interfering with European security.”
The journalist writes that if the US plans to maintain its position, they should avoid the “double threat” and focus on China, not Russia.
