Trzaskowski led away by a soldier
Before laying flowers, the Ukrainian president spoke at Pl. Piłsudski with Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. He also greeted the mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, who was on site – it was just a short exchange of views, not an official meeting.
At one point, a man approached Trzaskowski, after which the mayor of Warsaw was led away by a soldier. The situation was captured by the TVP Info camera.
It is an honor to receive you in Warsaw, Mr. President @ZelenskyyUa. I thank you and all Ukrainians for your courage, for your heroic struggle, for standing up for the values of the free world. We were, we are and we will be in solidarity with Ukraine
Trzaskowski wrote on Twitter.
