We are convinced that together we will make Ukraine more beautiful than it ever was, President Andrzej Duda emphasized during plenary talks of the delegation with the participation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the Presidential Palace.
Talks between Polish and Ukrainian delegations
Plenary discussions of the Polish and Ukrainian delegations chaired by Presidents Duda and Zelenskiy are held in the Presidential Palace. On the Polish side, they are attended by, among others, Marcin Przydacz, head of the International Policy Office, Jacek Siewiera, head of the National Security Bureau, Andrzej Adamczyk, Minister of Infrastructure, and Waldemar Buda, Minister of Development.
Integration of Ukraine with the West
Andrzej Duda expressed the hope that Ukraine will become part of the European Union and the transatlantic community in the near future.
We want to build a common future, that’s why this visit (by Volodymyr Zelensky) is so planned
said the chairman. As he indicated, a Business Forum will be held in addition to the delegation meeting.
According to the president, the talks are not only about rebuilding Ukraine from war damage.
We are convinced that together we will make Ukraine more beautiful than it ever was
Duda said. He emphasized that he also says this when meeting Ukrainian citizens in Poland, mainly women: “Don’t worry, Ukraine will be more beautiful than when you left it, it will be modern, everything will be new, there will be a completely new future and we will try together.”
First of all, I would like to emphasize one thing: we are looking to the further future, not just the reconstruction itself, but we are also looking at future cooperation, how to build those links, how we can actually maximize the positive results from the cooperation of our countries, representatives of our company, and these are the issues we will discuss in this meeting today
– emphasized the Polish president.
Poland as an economic partner
As he noted, “Poland is currently Ukraine’s largest economic partner.”
It is clear from this data that at the moment the largest turnover is between Poland and Ukraine
he said.
This, of course, has to do with the situation we have and the general change that the eastern direction has been closed to Ukraine, which is clear
– added.
I am convinced that this trend will continue in the future, that Ukraine will cooperate with the West as part of the Western community, as part of the European Union
– said Andrzej Duda.

Mobilization in support of Ukraine
The president stressed that the most important thing in current affairs is to support Ukraine so that it can expel the enemy, the Russian invader, from its territory.
We hope that this will work out soon, we are sending, as we have discussed, military support to the best of our ability, but I also want to assure the President (of Ukraine) and the ministers that in every absolute European and world forum where we are present and about the current situation, we mobilize all our allies and allies to support Ukraine with all our might
Duda emphasized.
I believe that thanks to this support, despite the fact that Russia is a superpower compared to Ukraine, Ukraine will win, and so it will mean that justice has won, simple historical justice, that the aggressor has been repelled
said the Polish president.
He thanked President Volodymyr Zelensky and the entire Ukrainian delegation for coming to Poland to “show our unity and cooperation”.
I’m so glad we’re here together
said President Duda.
Zelensky: Thank you for everything you do
During the talks between the Polish and Ukrainian delegations, President Zelensky emphasized that the visit to Poland was very important to him and was a gesture of gratitude.
Gratitude for what we have today, so that we can talk about our common future, in the EU, in NATO. We still have a lot to do in this direction. First of all, as you said to Andrzej, there will be a win, then everything else
– said the Ukrainian president to Andrzej Duda.
I want to thank you for doing everything possible for our victory. I want to thank you for strengthening us on the battlefield
Zelensky emphasized.
As he recalled, he will also meet Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and representatives of the Polish government on Wednesday in Warsaw.
Today, all of Europe must unite even more to support us on the battlefield, because that is very important. It’s a demanding challenge: you have to make the world’s second army the world’s last army
he noticed. As he said, it would be very difficult for Ukrainians to “fight alone”.
I am thankful that you are on this road with us
– added.
Zelensky thanked the Ukrainian armed forces for their support. He also thanked Poland and other friends for supporting Ukraine’s path to the EU; recalled in this context that Ukraine has obtained the status of candidate country for EU membership.
Thank you, Andrzej, for driving, persuading, being our lawyer so we could get this candidate status
– said the President of Ukraine, addressing the Polish leader.
