Dmitry Birichevsky, Director of the Department of Economic Cooperation of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that Russia does not close itself to anyone and is determined to develop mutually beneficial relations with all relevant countries. It’s called “The New Economic Order: Is It Really Possible to End the Dollar Monopoly?” On the site of the Valdai Club, reports TASS.

As the diplomat recalled, Russian President Vladimir Putin recently adopted and approved the concept of the country’s foreign policy, which was prepared taking into account recent events and relations with Western partners.

“We are very pragmatic and part of the global economy, global finance. We intend to establish mutually beneficial relations with everyone who is interested in this,” said Birichevsky, and noted that we were talking about countries that did not take hostile steps against Russia last year.

He added that the last partners of the Russian Federation have refused to cooperate in various fields “for purely political reasons to their own detriment”, so it will be difficult to rely on them in the future.

Former Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov declarationRussia now sees the European Union as a hostile union because of its desire to achieve a “strategic defeat” for Moscow. He also stressed that Moscow is open to equal cooperation with the EU, but that relations with China, African countries, the Middle East and Latin America are a priority for the Russian Federation.
