“Before 2016, there was simply no program that would support Polish families,” said Marshal Elżbieta Witek in Tomaszów Lubelski.
During the meeting with the voters, the Marshal of the Sejm recalled the anniversary of the introduction of the support program for Polish families.
I’m not going to tell jokes here. But April 1 is a date associated with another important event. Today marks seven years since the launch of our flagship program “Rodzina 500 Plus”
– she said.
Before 2016, there was simply no program that would support Polish families
Marshal Witek remembered.
She also pointed out that the “Rodzina 500 Plus” program has been supporting families for many years.
The children born in 2016 are already in first grade. 500 is present with our families at very important moments
she said.
Of course we didn’t succeed in everything, but we try to fix these mistakes. But we don’t pretend they don’t exist
she added.
Tusk’s speeches
Subsequently, Marshal Elżbieta Witek drew attention to Donald Tusk’s contradictory statements.
I watch one-man theatre. Donald Tusk talks to Donald Tusk. He forgot that there is an internet where nothing is lost and that there are other media nowadays. Watching meetings where I hear conflicting information, I get the impression that he’s a pretty bad actor
she said.
Who said it: this wall will not be there in about three years? And what does he say in meetings now? “I never said that.” And who said that you need to cooperate with Russia “as it is”? And what does he say today? He accuses PiS of being pro-Russian
she added.
Elżbieta Witek also remembered Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz’s words about the “social margin”.
When I hear scornful words aimed at people with the so-called province, it all hits me. (…) I myself come from the province and am very proud of it. And what have we heard recently? Mr. Sienkiewicz said those who don’t work, ie pensioners, pensioners, women raising children… remember what he called us? Scum of society. (…) Hearing these words made me feel sorry. These are words that should never have been said. Regardless of who we are by profession, where we come from, we are all Poles, citizens and we have the same rights and obligations
– said the chairman of the Sejm.
