The common goal of Hungary and Turkey is the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukrainian territory and the speedy conclusion of a peace agreement, Hungarian President Katalin Novak said on a visit to Turkey on Wednesday.

Novak stressed that she recently signed the law on the ratification of Finland’s accession to NATO, and that Sweden’s accession is also on the agenda.
Türkiye and Azerbaijan are ready to give some support to Hungary in terms of gas supply
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this during a joint press conference.
He reported that the annual trade turnover of the two countries was $3.5 billion and the next target is $6 billion. He also thanked Hungary for helping with the earthquake rescue operation.
