“Today the Council of Ministers passed a resolution referring to the national program for ammunition production, the national program for increasing ammunition production capacity.”
According to Morawiecki, there is a huge demand for ammunition in Europe right now. He noted that if someone in Europe produces ammunition of 155 or 122 millimeters, these shells will be purchased entirely.
The head of the Polish government invited state, private and foreign businesses to participate in the programme.
He also noted that Poland plans to sharply increase the production of ammunition for supply to Ukraine.
