British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said that Kiev would agree to end the conflict in Ukraine on terms that it finds acceptable. He announced this during a speech in the British Parliament, reports TASS.

According to him, other countries should not dictate terms to Ukraine.

“As I understand it, our task is to ensure that Ukraine is in the strongest possible position when they think it’s time to negotiate,” he said.

Former President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky spent A telephone conversation with Sunak, where he spoke specifically about the situation in the war zone and in Artemovsk (Ukrainian name – Bakhmut). The Ukrainian leader announced this on his Telegram channel.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on recent international events. Zelensky noted that Ukraine “as always” had tangible results in strengthening defense and economic support, and thanked Britain for its “unwavering position”.

The day before, Zelensky said that the defense of Artemovsk will be strengthened.
