“I am very sad, even devastated, when I look at the pillars of support now. You as a government, the president of the United Right, what you do for my country and for us – citizens, should have the support of more than 60 percent.” – said one of the participants of the meeting with the head of the ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Przemysław Czarnek.
I agree with this
replied the minister.
And this gang, on the other hand, should not have 29 percent, but only 9 percent.
the woman observed.
i also agree
– replied Przemyslaw Czarnek.
Then the participant of the meeting turned to the politician with the question:
Would not such open traitors of my homeland who are in Brussels be deprived of Polish citizenship? Because such Mr. Sikorski, Róża Thun, Lewandowski, Miller and all in turn should not have Polish citizenship, because they are traitors who spit on my homeland.
Minister Czarnek then replied:
It was not me who said it, you spoke of this citizenship, but I – as a citizen – agree, as you agreed. This is not the voice of the government, they cannot be deprived of their citizenship – not in this day and age, but the responsibility for spitting, biting and hating on Poles must be enforced, because they do not hate on me, not on Prime Minister Morawiecki, not on President Kaczyński (…), they only hate Poland, Poland, the Polish countryside, the Polish raison d’état, Polish society.
The indignation of PO politicians
Civic platform politicians referred to these statements on Twitter.
I have asked the authorities of @Europarl_PL to take a position on the approval of @CzarnekP for the postulate of withdrawal of Polish citizenship of opposition members
– wrote MEP Radosław Sikorski.
First, Moscow wanted to take Poland’s passports. Now Czarnek dreams of stripping those who oppose PiS of citizenship. These people are just one step away from calls for pogroms
– thundered MP Marcin Kierwiński.
Czarnek answers
The Minister of Education and Science, Przemysław Czarnek, referred to these voices.
A lady from Kowala says that those MEPs who spit on Poland in Brussels should be held accountable. Kierwinski and Sikorski were offended by this, and what are they going to do? Sorry, but I don’t argue with weird people…
