We have to think of our small homelands, think of all of Poland, said the head of the PiS club, Ryszard Terlecki, during a Sunday meeting with the inhabitants of Linowa (Małopolskie Voivodeship). As he emphasized, the pro-social and pro-family program is the most important thing for PiS and will continue after the election.
Meetings with Poland and election programme
Addressing the citizens of Limanowa, the Deputy Marshal of the Sejm explained that Law and Justice politicians travel all over the country to learn more about the problems local Poles are living with and prepare for the upcoming elections, first parliamentary and then local government.
We listen to your wishes and what you expect from us. At the turn of spring and summer we present our election program and then we tell what we will do after the elections
Terlekki said.
Successes and challenges for the government
According to him, the government has successfully dealt with the problems – first the pandemic and then the war in Ukraine.
We have dealt with the pandemic (…) we are dealing with this war situation and we are trying to help Ukraine as much as possible in every way (…). The problem we are facing now is the problem of prices
– rated the head of the PiS club.
As he noted, the opposition threatened “catastrophe, cold, dark and hungry, some dramatic situations” last fall.
Nothing happened, as usual they tried to trick us. Now we go straight and we hope that inflation will decrease, prices will start to return to normal levels, summer and autumn will bring an upswing and return to the pre-pandemic situation, when Poland developed as one of the best countries in Europe
Terlecki noted.
Inflation and high prices are a confession for our government and we have to make do with that
emphasized the politician.
“One list seems unrealistic, even impossible”
Referring to the upcoming elections, he judged that “the opposition is in discord, is divided, has no programme, has no idea how to go to the elections”.
One list seems unrealistic and even impossible. Mr Tusk promised in Brussels that he would win the elections (…) and it has not yet succeeded, it has not succeeded in uniting the camp, so he is running through Poland and they are trying to mislead us by saying that it was great in their day, but most of you remember what the difference is
– said Terlecki in Limanowa.
According to him, “the opposition is trying to win with aggression, brawls, convincing that PiS is dangerous and dangerous, that Poland is in danger.”
This is not true, our government has provided stability in this difficult situation (…). Our government has tried in various ways to control this situation and it seems that it has mastered it – spring brings hope that things will get better, that we will get out of this difficult situation
– assessed the Deputy Chairman of the Sejm.
Despite what surrounds us, what we had to do, we stick to our pro-social and pro-family program, which is the most important thing for us and we will stick to it
– announced the head of the PiS club.
“A brutal and gruesome blow to the Holy Father”
As he stressed, the upcoming elections will be “a choice between Poland, which is developing and cares about a prosperous life, and Poland, where restrictions will come immediately”.
The elections ahead of us are also important for another reason, not just the financial situation, because in recent days and weeks you have seen particularly clearly how a certain strategy of weakening Poland and hitting something that forms the base of our national identity, our patriotism is implemented.
Terlekki said.
What happened – a brutal and horrific blow to the Holy Father, St. John Paul II, this is only part of the program, part of the strategy they adopted – “saw”, the presence of Catholics in the restrict public space
– added the Deputy Chairman of the Sejm.
“One of the failures of PiS”
When Terlecki was asked about the reform of the judiciary, he admitted that it was “one of the failures of PiS”.
We have said that reform of the judiciary is necessary, and so are the privileges and impunity of the judiciary. Without this reform, we are faced with surprising and astonishing situations where serious crimes committed by people responsible for public service end in acquittals or disproportionately lenient sentences. This is a subject still ahead of us
he announced.
Dispute with the European Union
Terlecki, referring to the problems with the payment of EU funds to Poland, judged that “the liberal left, which has gained a decisive position in the EU structures, with the support of members of the opposition”, is responsible for this.
The dispute with the EU continues and it is not that they have already reconciled themselves to the fact that a right-wing government is in power in Poland and is still trying to weaken us in all kinds of ways, and thus weaken Poland (. ..) . As the elections approach, we can observe the intensity of these activities, especially regarding the payment of money owed to Poland
he noticed.
We need to take action to rectify this situation and I hope after this election they will realize that we are an organization strong enough to rule for years and will change their attitude or else the EU could be shaken
– assessed the Deputy Chairman of the Sejm.
