Asaf Zamir, Consul General of Israel in New York, announced his resignation due to the actions of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government. He reported this in his news twitter.

“The past 18 months as Israel’s Consul General in New York have been eventful and rewarding, but given the events of today, it’s time for me to join the fight for Israel’s future,” he wrote.

Yoav Galant, formerly Israeli Defense Minister, sent Resignation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

On March 25, Galant urged the government to abandon judicial reform until there was public agreement on this issue. The statement was made by the politician during his visit to England.

Netanyahu said he had lost confidence in the defense minister because he was “acting behind the government’s back”. A new defense minister must be appointed within 48 hours.
