During his tournament in Silesia, Donald Tusk again showed his contempt for people who have the courage to ask a question that clearly does not suit the head of Civic Platform, as it recalls the achievements of his government. When one of the men drew attention to Tusk’s protection, the shipyard issue and dubious heroes, Tusk was forced to say that he sympathized with the questioner that he “believes Glapiński, Kaczyński and Czarnek”.
Tricky question for Tusk
I’m not a fan but from what I remember even your private soccer game was protected by the police and you waged a war against hooliganism
the man remarked.
He then added that he would start with a quote.
To quote you: I traveled halfway around the world and finally with a positive result. We are going to start ship production – the shipyards were closed right after the elections. By the way, I watch TVN as well as “TVPiS” and Polsat, but I’m the only one who asks: you’re talking about Buzek here. Buzek, who normally closed most of the mines in Silesia, isn’t he a hero? You’re talking about Henryka Krzywonos here, where the late Anna Walentynowicz said she was a strikebreaker. And there are more documents. So we don’t create false heroes, and if you win after the election, will you keep your word? Because your minister, when you were overheard, said: Promising twice is keeping. So I wanted to ask how much your words are worth now – as well as the allusion to the Gdańsk Shipyard – and how much later?
said the man at the meeting in Sosnowiec.
Contempt of the head of the PO
What did Donald Tusk have to say? As usual, he tried to put all the blame on the Law and Justice government and tried to convince the questioner that he was wrong, because the fact that the shipbuilding industry had been devastated under his rule was – as Tusk said – a “myth”.
A few corrections. It’s a matter of trust, of course – if you don’t trust me, I can say twenty times here that I’ll do this and that and you won’t trust me anyway. Trust is gained, trust is lost and it is a matter of individual perception. I have no illusions that I will convince everyone. Of course, democracy is also about people making their own choices and believing some people more than others. If you believe more in Glapiński, Kaczyński, Czarnecki, Mejza, Czarnek, then all I can say – I don’t want to say I sympathize – but I admire your resilience and determination. As for the shipyards, I didn’t really understand. This myth that the shipbuilding industry collapsed under my rule and is booming before or now under PiS is absurd. It’s not even about Morawiecki’s symbolic smock. It didn’t work, the Qatari investor didn’t come. But what is now? You come to Gdańsk and you will see it
replied Donald Tusk.
Tusk pretends not to be afraid of awkward questions, but when they are asked, he mocks the people who ask them instead of accepting the challenge…
