“In the parliamentary elections [парламента] Turkmenistan Central Election Commission stated that 43.73% of voters cast their votes before 11 am in Turkmenistan.
It was announced that 43.81% of the votes were cast in the Ahal province, 42.95% in the Balkan province, 42.85% in the Dashoguz province and 43.93% in the Lebap province.
Voting is still ongoing and will continue until 17.00 Moscow time.
In the parliamentary elections, there are 3,496,475 registered voters in Turkey and 13,078 registered voters abroad.
At the same time, Turkmenistan legislation does not set a threshold for accession. In this context, any activity of the voters and the elections are considered valid. The candidate who receives more than half of the votes in the elections will be elected.
