“I read about myself or about Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, that we are Volksdeutsche or similar things, I think someone’s platform has already left, and so solid. I hear I will go to hell and bake in a red-hot cauldron or that we are not patriots or all those other scary things,” Szymon Hołownia, the leader of Poland 2050, said on Twitter.
Hołownia vented his frustration over the Civic Coalition’s continued attacks on him and Poland 2050, caused by a lack of agreement on a common opposition list. He accuses Donald Tusk’s circle of intimidation and abuse, and predicts that the opposition will certainly not win the parliamentary elections against PiS in this situation.
On the side of the opposition, it’s not just a certain part of you that worries or frightens me, it worries and frightens me. This hysteria around one list, completely absurd, completely unnecessary for us today, is bleeding us out. Because, as I see, many have released the brakes and the opposition is missing something that is indispensable to winning the election – namely the emotion with which people watching us will feel – okay, this team will deliver, this team will winning. There is no smell of victory. You don’t have to invest in quarrels, absurdities, tensions, accusations and blackmail
says Holownia.
There is no need for oppositionists blackmailing each other, threatening with hell, announcing that someone is being whipped, insulting, telling very stupid things. If I hear from the mouth of this political sectarianism, which is also present on our side, that I am responsible for the death of Mikołaj Filiks, what I read on the Internet, that I will be responsible for the death of more teenagers, because I am personally responsible for PiS ruling Poland and will rule for another term. I read about myself or about Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, that we are Volksdeutsche or similar things, I think someone’s platform has already left, and so solid. I hear I’m going to hell and roasting in a hot cauldron or we ain’t patriots or all that creepy stuff
he adds.
Absolute religious intensification in “Gazeta Wyborcza”, which simply winks at her involvement. Let us remind you that until now, whoever strongly supported “Wyborcza” in the elections always lost. So I would recommend to my colleagues a bit more polyphony, pluralism, reflection, looking at reality from different angles, looking at different polls. The latest poll has so discredited itself in recent days that there is no doubt that most of the findings presented to us on Monday can be placed between fairy tales. There is only banging, not only in PiS, because I have the impression that I am a bigger enemy than Kaczyński to some people from Civic Platform, and they often express it personally
says Hołownia bitterly.
After all, all this grief, these frustrations, regrets, moans, blackmail, threats that are uttered on this side, you cannot listen to them. It’s pretty scary to piss people off. You can scare me with hell, shit, whatever you come up with. You can describe the temperature in the boilers, promise me torn belts, hang me by the ribs like Janosik – it won’t change anything. We will still lose to PiS. You can try to kill Poland 2050, you have tried many times on this opposition side. And what? It grows out of this opposition? It just falls. You can kill us, you can push us under the threshold, earn 4 percent so that we get back to our knees – after all, I heard it directly, only that you will also find yourself on these knees, you will not win. Another festival of aggression and frustration, mutual accusations and bile
he concludes.
Szymon Hołownia, as he himself points out, could see for himself the risk of Donald Tusk and the media involved in supporting his party. KO’s story about Poland 2050, while it still seems quite delicate given the ongoing attacks on the government, is taking its toll on all those who do not intend to follow Tusk’s leadership into the election.
