It is important to quickly implement regulations that will increase the competitiveness of the internal market, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said in Brussels on Friday. As he emphasized, the internal market is important for Polish small and medium-sized enterprises.
Ahead of the second day of the European Council summit, the head of the Polish government announced that European leaders on Friday would focus on financial market stability, which is necessary for the single market to function unimpeded.
Yesterday was the first discussion on the internal market. Today a conversation with the head of the European Central Bank, Christine Lagarde
said Morawiecki.

he said.
“Risks in the fund market”
He announced that he would also point out “risks in the fund market and in relation to certain financial instruments”.
He added that this is all to ensure that the internal market develops stably.
For us, the internal market is of great value. The internal market offers export opportunities for Polish small and medium-sized enterprises. It is their fate that interests me most and all the rules that are made here I analyze from this angle
said Morawiecki.
He also said that he would be meeting in Poland in a few days with Internal Market Commissioner Thierry Breton, who is also responsible for the services market.

said the prime minister.
He added that it was important for Poland to “pull the boundaries of freedoms in the internal market in services, but at the same time inspire others”.
And that is what we are doing here: quickly implementing regulations that will increase the competitiveness of the whole internal market
said Morawiecki.
