Before Deputy Prime Minister Kowalczyk’s speech, a scandalous event took place in Jasionka. Eggs flew from the audience.
The Agriculture Minister attended the debate, but before the discussion started, a group of people started throwing eggs at the participants.
Request for appeal
I think the motion to dismiss me as Minister of Agriculture will be a good opportunity to clear things up. If the opposition wants to hold me responsible for grain coming from Ukraine, I am open to a debate. – said Deputy Prime Minister, Agriculture Minister Henryk Kowalczyk.
On Wednesday, the Deputy Prime Minister will participate in the 5th European Agriculture Forum, which started on Wednesday in Jasionka near Rzeszów.
The filing of a motion to recall Kowalczyk was announced during Saturday’s meeting with the residents of Busko-Zdrój by PSL chairman Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. According to him, Minister Kowalczyk “deceived the Polish countryside and led the Polish peasant astray”. The proposal is supported by the Left, citizen coalition and confederation.
When asked to comment on the proposal on Wednesday, the Agriculture Minister replied that the debate on its abolition would be a good opportunity to clarify things.
I think the opposition remembers that they also agreed to open the borders with Ukraine. And if the opposition wants to hold me responsible for grain coming from Ukraine, I am open to this debate. The opposition also took this decision to open the borders
emphasized Kowalczyk.
The deputy prime minister believed that the debate would also be an excellent opportunity to show his merits.
It will also be an opportunity to recall how the applicant, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, raised the retirement age for farmers. Some may have forgotten, this is an opportunity to remind you
Kowalczyk said.
