We focus on the Polish defense industry, which is the basis for us to be able to defend ourselves if there is an attack, PiS MP Marek Suski stressed on Saturday in Jedlnia Letnisko (Mazowieckie Voivodeship). He estimated that in the elections the Poles would decide whether Poland would be strong, “or maybe it wouldn’t exist at all”.
“We must be aware of what is at stake.”
On weekends, PiS politicians meet voters as part of the “Future is Poland” program tour. In the OSP in Jedlnia Letnisko in the Radom poviat, the head of the parliamentary committee for foreign affairs, Radosław Fogiel, stressed that in the upcoming elections the question arises of what Poland will look like and whose Poland will be decided.
Will it be Poland, all states, or will it be oligarchs, interest groups, or will it be exposed to the influence of external actors who have such and no other global interests?
he said.
He focused on security issues in the context of the war in Ukraine. He noted that the main goal of the PiS government is to strengthen the military and strengthen alliances.
There are accusations in our meetings that we mention our competitors, but unfortunately we don’t live in a vacuum. The election is based on the fact that if PiS doesn’t win, the generally accepted other party will win. We must be aware of what this threatens, where it can lead. If someone has liquidated military units in eastern Poland, then at least they have no idea about security issues. And that’s what Civic Platform did
Fogel said.
This is what these elections will be about: do we want responsible people who have Poland in their hearts (…) or people who will not make a decision until they get the green light from Berlin, who have no idea about anything and who put their coats in front of them? knocking or handing over somewhere in European salons is the pinnacle of the achievements of Polish diplomacy. That will be decided in the next election
Fogel said.
“We focus on Polish production”
PiS MP Marek Suski noted that in Pionki in the Radom district, the pre-war gunpowder factory was “split up” after 1989.
The pieces have been destroyed. Today, when PiS is in power, we have allocated hundreds of millions of zlotys to restore the production capacity of this factory. Investments are currently underway
said Suski.
We focus on the Polish production, the Polish defense industry, on what is the basis for us – if an attack comes – to be able to defend ourselves
he stressed.
He also recalled that Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” in Radom, which was visited by President Andrzej Duda on Friday, will be expanded.
We expect an evaluation of our activities, because more than 4 or even 6 percent. GDP goes to defense. This means there will be less money for certain other areas. But we hope that for this reason the threat of war in our area today is a real threat, that you will support PiS. Our opponents liquidated the army, they opposed the defense of our border. This difference between our program and theirs, this is the difference between whether Poland will be strong or maybe not at all
Suski protested.
