Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone call with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, where he talked specifically about the war zone and the situation in Artemivsk (Ukrainian name Bakhmut). The Ukrainian leader announced this on his Telegram channel.
“Good conversation with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. I informed about the situation at the front, about the defense of Bakhmut,” Zelensky wrote.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on recent international events. Zelensky noted that Ukraine “as always” had tangible results in strengthening defense and economic support, and thanked Britain for its “unwavering position”.
