State Department: US sees no immediate threat from Transnistria to Moldova

Derek Hogan, First Deputy Assistant for European and Eurasian Affairs at the State Department, said that the United States does not see a direct threat from unrecognized Transnistria to Moldova. It has been reported TASS.

“We do not see any immediate danger from Transnistria and we believe it is a solid foundation to inform the Moldovan government, speak publicly about Russia’s actions and continue to support the Republic of Moldova,” Hogan said.
