Political scientist Alexei Vanifatov argues that Moscow cannot prove that Washington was involved in the Nord Stream sabotage because of the investigators’ desire to hide the true culprit. It has been reported RIAMO.
According to him, the Russian Federation showed the members of the United Nations Security Council that it was ready to openly investigate the incidents with the participation of all relevant parties by providing correspondence with Germany, Sweden and Denmark on the sabotage of pipelines. The political scientist suggests that the investigation into the three states aims to “clean up and destroy the evidence of who actually blew up the North Streams.”
He added that the Russian side would only be allowed to investigate when there is confidence that the real culprits cannot be identified.
