The Russian diplomat said on Thursday that the initiative of 50 delegations sent to the IAEA Board of Governors in connection with the closure of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, which these countries accuse Russia of neglecting nuclear security, did not find support. In addition to the ZNPP, one of the main topics of the session was Iran’s nuclear program.
Also in this session, IAEA Director-General Rafael Grossi was re-elected for a second term.
