PAP asked the Warsaw City Hall about the monthly income of the arrested and suspended Włodzimierz Karpiński. Monika Beuth informed that his gross salary according to the employment contract is PLN 19,152.
Last week, the press office of the city council informed PAP that “during the period of suspension, a municipal official will receive half of the salary to which he is entitled until the day of pre-trial detention”. However, they did not disclose the monthly salary.
According to the information now obtained from the spokesman of the town hall, Karpiński is entitled to a monthly salary of more than PLN 9,500 during his detention. PLN gross.
Włodzimierz Karpiński was detained in an investigation into contracting with the Warsaw municipal cleaning company. The former minister was president of this company in 2019-2021. In April 2021, he won the contest for city secretary.
